Mostly you don't save that much. At certain places more than others. Look at it as a way to pre pay if you are interested in that.

I just wanted to add that I did purchase some Quick & Casual vouchers for our recent trip, partly to pre-pay for some meals, but also to eat at the "good" restaurants = save $$ and get a lot of good food. We did REALLY really well at Beaches and Cream (by the Yacht and Beach Club resorts) and Tangieriene Cafe in Morocco at Epcot. Check out the menus at www.wdwig.com to help you decide. :D

Just curious...what did you get at Tangieriene? How was it? And did you get a side item with that? Thanks!

Copied from the menus on Deb's site, we had:

Shawarma Platters - served with hummus, tabbouleh and Tangierine CousCous salad with fresh Moroccan bread. Chicken & Lamb $9.95; Lamb $8.75; Chicken $8.95.

Mediterranean Specialties - served with yellow rice. Saffron Rotisserie Chicken $10.95; Meatball platter served with yellow rice $8.95

DH had the first (chicken and lamb) and I had the rotisserie chicken, AND we got two additional side dishes with the meals - lentil salad and marinated olives. DELICIOUS MEAL!! We bought two kid's meals and a side of fries for DS - he shared my chicken (and my lemonade). Large drinks and baklava for desert, although my DDs went back and got a great chocolate pastry that was more expensive than the baklava! We really enjoyed this meal and saved a great deal. Hope that helps!!:D

Wow, sounds great! You used vouchers, right? So baklava isn't the only desert? I'm gad to hear that.. I like baklava but chocolate is better.

Yes, we used the vouchers for myself and DH, and I would think that you could choose any dessert. I didn't check out the dessert display because I thought that I wanted baklava - then the girls come back with this great chocolate dessert that they only ate HALF of and FORCED me to eat the rest!! :o AFTER I ate the baklava.... and the chocolate WAS better..... The baklava was refridgerated and I like it better at room temp. ;)

one more last question...

was there enough food for you and your kids to share? What I mean is was two vouchers enough for four people..

DH is a bigger eater, DD eats like a bird. DS eats ok, but isn't a big rice/couscous fan--but he likes meat. I'm not a huge meat fan, but will eat it.

I'm thinking that I can share the meat with the kids, and I can eat the sides with a little bit of meat.

I'm not fond of olives though.. is there another side or can you get two helpings of the the lentils?

We may just have to use three vouchers here one for me and one for hubs, and one for both kids.

From Deb's site:

Side Dishes - Tabouleh, Lentil Salad, Marinated Olives, Tangierine Couscous Salad, or French Fries $1.95 each

Kid's Meal - Hamburger or Pizza $4.95; both served with fries and small beverage

The lentil salad is a cold dish, and I am sure that you could get two servings (one with each voucher). My kids sampled the sides but did not like them well enough for it to be dinner. For the kids, it would probably be cheaper if you got one kid's meal for $4.99 - hamburger or pizza, with fries and drink - rather than using up a voucher on food that your DS or DD might not really like. And - BIG DUH ON MY PART - NOW I see that FRIES are a side dish!! Oops (red face...)! If your kids like fries and you got two side orders with your vouchers, I am sure that you'd have more than enough food. I'll have to remember that for our next (!) trip.

Don't forget the free ice water, too - we took advantage of that as well. My DH is a big eater and his meal was good for him (but you could probably sneak a few pieces away from your DH for your DS....) The chicken was huge and I had no problem sharing with DS. You can still share two desserts!! :D Hope this helps!

our kids like tabouleh, and I do too... I could eat a huge bowl of it myself. I knew lentil salad was cold as well. (I have a mediterreanean coworker that makes that all the time!)

We're still not sure if we are paying cash for the kids, or having them split one voucher. If we paid cash for the kids it would cost the same as one voucher.. approx. $5 for EACH kid meal, times 2 plus tax.. and those meal only include drink, meal/fries.. and not a desert. This way with a voucher they can have a desert.

Sounds like a "good dilemma" to have....:D I wasn't sure how you guys would split up desserts. I just know that my DDs couldn't eat one entire dessert after eating a kid's meal each (and I believe that they may have slipped some fries to my DS as well), so that's what I was basing my comments on. I was thinking that if you split the chicken meal and one kid's meal between you and your DS and your DD, you'd be okay. Enjoy your meal, whatever you decide!! :D It's a great deal/meal anyway you slice it up....

Okay, so it sounds like you guys have all used these vouchers...so were can I get them? Can someone give me a web site or phone number? I would really like to use these for our trip in Oct.
Thanks!

What I was thinking of using three vouchers when we went.. one adult for me, one adult for DH, and the kids splitting a one voucher meal between the two of them.. that way they could share a dessert.
