Has anyone bought the meal voucher's with the Fall Fantasy Package? It doesn't explane them very well. It only says 8 choices for $71 and $46 for children. That's for a 3 day package. We are doing the 4 night and 5 days, but I wouldn't want to buy too many as our grandchildren are not big eaters. Thanks for any info you can give me. I'm getting ready to book tomorrow so would appreciate an answer.

I found this info at Mousesavers.com

"The 2002 Disneyland Dining Plan aka Dine in the Magic, which can be added to any Disneyland package, can actually save you money. Here's how it works: you pay a flat rate per person that covers most of your in-park meals. Depending on what and where you eat, this can result in some savings. An adult couple on a 3-day plan can save up to $11, while a family of four on a 6-day plan can save over $70. Click here to see what you get with each plan.
Of course, you only save if you use ALL of the meals and snacks, for which you are issued vouchers. The vouchers are good at most restaurants (including sit-down locations Blue Bayou and ABC Soap Opera Bistro), counter service locations and carts in the parks -- EXCEPT that they may not be used at Avalon Cove, the Cove Bar, and locations in Golden Vine Winery (including the Vineyard Room) at DCA. You also cannot use the vouchers at Disneyland Resort hotels or Downtown Disney. (The plan is structured to cover most, but not all, of your meals, so you could choose to pay out of pocket for special meals at the hotel, Downtown Disney or the excluded DCA locations.) If you decide to participate in the Disneyland Dining Plan, everyone in your party must purchase the plan. No refunds or change back on the vouchers.

3-Day "Dine in the Magic" Plan
Adults (ages 10 and older) $71, Children (ages 3-9) $46
includes total of two breakfasts, three other meals, and three snacks:
one Character Breakfast at Plaza Inn (value $17.99 adults, $9.99 kids) per person
one Magic Morning Breakfast at Tomorrowland Terrace (value $6.99) per person
one $15.50 meal voucher per adult
two $10.50 meal vouchers per adult
one $6.00 meal voucher per kid
two $5.00 meal vouchers per kid
three snacks ($5 value each) per person"

You actually get Vouchers with a dollar amount on them. Not a coupon good for a meal. So if you, an adult, have a meal your voucher is good for 15.50 or 10.50. Lets say you eat lunch and your meal cost total 9.35 you would pay with the 10.50 voucher and you DO NOT get change. So you would want to order desert or a bottle of water to bring the total as close to 10.50 as possible.

You may end up eating more than you usually do just to make sure you get your money's worth (ordering desert to make up the few extra bucks). If the kids might be splitting meals or sharing with you, you might want to see ifyou can buy one less child meal plan.

Many people really like having the dining plan and find it easy to use. Hope that helps.

That is exactly what I was looking for Sonya! Thanks a bunch! I guess we will skip the vouchers however as we will be staying concierge and not eating breakfast out. Also plan on eating at DLH some so the vouchers wouldn't do us much good.
