meal vouchers that expire in December

can somebody answer this: are these voucher exactly the same as the one used to be in hotwire?

What exactly do these vouchars include? Sorry I've just never heard of them Thanks Kathy

I just sold some leftover vouchers on eBay and they went for $90.01 for 5 (which is the going price often on eBay). I charged actual shipping of signature priority $5.75, for a total of $95.76.

5 bought through this place would be $16.50 plus $5.36 tax, plus $8.50 s/h, so the total for five is $96.36, .60 more. I don't think that eBay prices are way too over the top, since they compare to this place (and sometimes they go for less on eBay), if you are only getting 5 or so vouchers. If you are getting a lot more, then the shipping would be lower (but not the tax). But if you had a lot, and you used them at other than Beaches and Peppermarket, you would be hard pressed to get your money's worth.

I can't imagine if a group bought them together and then still had to ship them (and I would never just ship them first class), that moneywise, it would be worth it.

In the past, before DDE, I thought they were a great deal at $11 or so and if used at Beaches or Peppermarket. We even did ok in the parks, and did pretty good at POR when we shared a pizza, got the cheese and fruit as a side and the big orange juice (which they didn't have last time) and the apple pie ala mode. Then I realized that we prefer water (tap is fine) and desserts were doing us in. Now, even though I can't use DDE at the counter places in the parks, for us it's less to just buy our food without vouchers...although we still have some for the above mentioned places.

please post the terms and conditions? I am considering ordering because we will be at BCV for 2 weeks, but I am not understanding the max value $18 that is posted on dwtickets.

Thank you very much,
Lifer

I'm also very interested in the meal vouchers. :mickeybar :drinking1
Will be @ WDW 2 weeks.
My son is 11 is he an child or adult?
Lunch & Dinner are $16.50 each.
Value is $18.00.
Does this mean if the bill is $20.00 I pay $2.00?
I used meal vouchers @ DLP loved them.
Hoping to be the same.
Also can I use them for a breakfast?

OK.......

to answer some questions......

Terms.....

I read the ones that were just delivered to me a week ago....

The terms read the same as the vouchers I had previously bought and used from Dealpass (for exp. May 2003 and for exp. May 2002).

I tried to scan the front of one but I couldn't get it too clear. You may find the wording on one of the ebay auctions for the Q&C vouchers.

there is NO price limit on the voucher for meals.... (the $18 value is more like a max value your going to get for them unless you go to pepper market or B&C where tip is included also. I've never been asked to pay any "difference".)

Are they good for breakfast?

No, Q&C vouchers are only good for lunch and dinners at various counter service/food courts in the resorts and parks. The only sit down places are Beaches and Cream at Beach Club and Pepper Market at Coronado Springs.
Look at the thread at the top about vouchers for more info or look at one of the e-bay listings to see the restaurant list.

Age limits?

There are no distinctions on Q&C vouchers for child/adults. However there are some meal vouchers in circulation that Disney sold that were only meant as youth meal vouchers (for school trips/bands/etc) which had a limited restaurant list. The Q&C vouchers at dwtickets.com are the regular ones that are good for adults or kids.

DWtickets.com site working?

My link to it still worked this morning.

Also add..........

Only available in the Continental USA!

They won't deliver elsewhere.

Scratch

from whomever DWTickets is purchasing from? I am sure we would have to buy as a group, but I am sure many of us on these boards would love to get the vouchers for 11.50 again.

Thank you very much for clearing that up!!

We always eat at B&C and Pepper Market at least 3 times each, so I will definitely be ordering. We will also have the DDE, but we will save another $5 over DDE with the vouchers at these 2 restaurants so I think it will be worth it.

Count me in if we are going to a great big group purchase!! I would like to have atleast 10 of them!!

I see you are a DVC member with DDE. I had a membership with Hotwire Savings club and canceled it when tickets or vouchers were no longer available. I used the voucers at the Tangerine Grill in Epcot and at the Peppermarket. I found that at the Peppermarket they were not happy accepting the vouchers and made a fuss each and every time we went. I am content to skip vouchers and to pay for what I want at other Disney restaurants.

Since this was my family's favorite, we used the vouchers there several times. Nobody ever said anything negative at all about them.

The only problem we ever had was once when my son wanted to substitute a different side for the one that automatically came with something and wound up with an extra stamp on his card. I noticed and called over a manager type, who immediately and cheerfully made the correction.

We found some of the wait staff friendlier and more helpful than others. I guess the automatic tip leads to that. We always tipped extra if they were good. Didn't if they were not.

We too, use them often at Peppermarket. We seldom even go through the check-out line. They usually see us waiting to go out, and tell us to just sign them and they'll take them, and we are on our way. I think that is one of the easiest places to use them, and by far the best deal.
