Hi, I am booked to go to DLP in June, I have booked a meal plan with 2 vouchers per day per adult ~ the plus option.

I have been trying to find out what the rules are for this,

I am unsure if I have to chose one counter meal/buffet for lunch and one table service for dinner or if I can chose two table service meals per day per adult???

One site gave this description:
For Plus and Premium Meal Plans:
Both Meal Vouchers allow you to enjoy an Unlimited Buffet OR Set Menu (1 Starter, 1 Main Course, 1 Dessert) PLUS 1 Drink (Soft Drink 33cl or Water 50cl) at any of the available restaurants according to the Meal Plan tier chosen, once per voucher.

If anyone could advise me what I am allowed to do that would be great as I am a bit confused!!

Thanks for any help

:confused3 :)

Hello!

As you said your meal plan has 2 vouchers per day I take it that you booked the "Full Board Plus" plan...

Looking at the Disneyland Paris brochure (link at http://www.disneylandparis.com/BROCHURE/SUMMER13/E/catalogue/appli.htm look at pages 50 and 51) the 2 vouchers for Full Board Plus would give you:
- 1 voucher valid for a buffet (Plaza Gardens or Agrabah Cafe in Disneyland or Restaurant Des Stars in WDS) or most of the counter service restaurants
- 1 voucher valid for a number of different restaurants, including table service restaurants.

The DLRP magic website at http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/meal-plans/ seems to say differently though! I would imagine the DLP brochure is more accurate - but if in doubt you could call the dining reservations line perhaps?

Hi ella2008 :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

This is a friendly board, please join in on any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

It does sound like the DLRP Magic page is now out of date. You used to be able to eat at table service for both meals but now, according to the DLP official site, it looks like you HAVE to use your lunch voucher at a buffet in the park so you will have a choice of Agrabah Cafe, Plaza Gardens or Restaurant des Stars. Fine if you're only there for three days but not so good if you are there for longer.

I've copied and pasted this from the site

Full Board - Plus option

List of accessible all-you-can-eat buffet and table service restaurants for dinner where you can save up to 15%:
" At Disney Hotels: Manhattan Restaurant, Parkside Diner, Yacht Club, Cape Cod, Beaver Creek Tavern, Hunter's Grill
" At Disney Parks: Walt's An American Restaurant, Blue Lagoon Restaurant, Silver Spur Steakhouse
" At Disney Village: Café Mickey, The Steakhouse (excluding brunch)

" At Disney Parks: Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Agrabah Café Restaurant, Restaurant des Stars

List of accessible all-you-can-eat buffet and table service restaurants for dinner with this option without any additional charge on the set menu:
" At Disney Hotels: La Cantina, Chuck Wagon Café, Crockett's Tavern,
" At Disney Village: Annette's Diner, The Grange at Billy Bob's Country Western Saloon
" At Disney Parks: Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Agrabah Café Restaurant, Restaurant des Stars

With your dinner voucher if you don't want to eat off the set menu you can use it at face value BUT you will then also have to pay for your drink.

With the lunch voucher I don't know how strict they will be about you only using it at the three buffet restaurants I've mentioned. You MAY be able to use it at face value elsewhere but until someone comes along who's done this recently we're not going to know. The general consensus is that meal vouchers are too restrictive and not good value - the only real benefit is that you've paid for your meals in advance. I know that's not much help to you for this trip but will be for any future ones.
