Meal voucher ? from newbie!

I know a lot of you have answered these questions before...sorry! I have read about meal vouchers here but have never used them on my Disney trips. I still don't quite understand them but do have a basic idea from the posts here. Where would I buy vouchers if interested? Is there a website where I can read which places they can be used for dining? I would like to look into this before our 2005 trip. Thanks for your patience!!
