Planning a trip in November for myself, husband and 2 sons - ages 2 1/2 and 6. We'd like to try some new character meals, but don't know which ones to pick. Any suggestions? There are so many, it is hard to chose. We'd like to do some different ones than we have in the past, which include Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Hoop de doo. We'd like to try O'Hana's this time, and some others. Please give your input on what meals you liked best. We'd like maybe one breakfast and one or two dinners.

Thanks!

We enjoy Cape May for brkfst. Great character interaction and pretty good selection on the buffet. Donald's is another one but gets mixed reviews on this site. As far as dinner.... I would stick with Crystal Palace or The Land over at Epcot.

Just a few ideas.

Our family loves 'Ohana! It is fantastic! Great food, great service, great entertainment, and great atmosphere. What more can I say? We travel with my sister's family. During our Dec. trip we will celebrate my niece's 8th B-day. She could pick anywhere for her B-day dinner. She didn't even hesitate before yelling, " 'Ohana," since she enjoyed it so much on our last visit. It is the one restaurant our entire party of 10 all enjoys equally. Our 2 DH's couldn't be happier with skewer after skewer being served to them!

If you choose only one sit down dinner, this should be it.

Did I mention we like 'Ohana...???!!!

Although this is not a character meal or a meal. Book the kiddies on a pirate cruise. It dis-imparks out of the Grand Floridian around 10 am. It is a great adventure for both kids.

I like the Grand Floridian 1900 Fare for breakfast buffet. Lots of cool characters. Chef Mickey at Contemporary is very good too.

Try Spoodles for dinner (Boardwalk). It's loud enough for kids to be a kid and the food is very good.

I love Jiko and Calif. Grill for a night without the kids. Not to be missed.

I hope this helps you.

Oh, HoopdeDo review is very good and so is Whispering Canyons. But the food is similar, so don't book back to back!

Here is another vote for O'Hana, it is great and your little ones will love the atmosphere with the coconut races, the hoola hoop contests, the fire pit, etc it is a lot of fun. The food is very good!
I also agree on Cape May Cafe for the character breakfast, it is much less crowded and crazy then the character breakfasts in the parks. The food is your typical breakfast buffet, no better, no worse.
Enjoy!
