Can anyone recommend a meal replacement shake (chocolate) that tastes good and isn't bad for you? I need it to replace a meal not just a protein shake. I'm not a big breakfast person. I'm not that hungry in the morning and I'm not a fan of most breakfast food. I'm looking for something that I can throw together in a shaker and go (when we start going again lol) Thank you!

Most meal shakes are full of fillers. If it were me I would add some fruit and something like oatmeal or bran to protein powder. My blender has “to go” cups that you can blitz it real quick or you could use an immersion blender. My favorite protein powder is Quest.

Soylent has a chocolate flavor that is actually pretty good. I wouldn't recommend the other flavors though. The regular flavor is more like cheerios that have sat in milk too long. The fruit flavors were so artificially sweet, they were hard to drink. The cafe mocha...well, I washed my mouth out with soap to get the taste off my tongue.

My husband is a pilot for news stations and there are times when he only has enough time for a quick lunch, so Soylent is a good fix for him to have on hand.

I really like the Premier Brand at Walmart and Target. The Walmart version is also goo. This morning I put a vanilla shake in the blender with a handful of frozen fruit (banana, mango and carrot). Soo good

Look for Orgain products-all natural. Created by a doctor who had cancer and was dismayed by the products with chemicals and artificial ingredients.

DD and I each prefer a different flavor.

Premier Protein (vanilla) from Costco. I used it in my coffee in place of cream. Also for a quick breakfast with a banana or cup of berries.

The chocolate meal replacement shakes from Aldi are good! Not sure how healthy they are but I put them in the freezer till they get real cold and then sip on them. I wish they sold more flavors.

I had weight loss surgery almost 4 yrs ago and was required to use protein/weight replacement shakes. I have tried them ALL. I never really liked them because of the "chemical/tinny" aftertaste. Until I found these.......they taste really good, doesn't have an aftertaste, mix up really well, even without a blender (use the shaker cup).

I use Protein World; the chocolate is delicious, but there are lots of other yummy flavours too! They are mixed with a nut based milk. Rather than 4 scoops of powder with 400ml of milk I use 3 scoops with 100ml water and 200ml almond milk.
