Okay, this is when my anal retentive nature comes in handy! I'm working on meal plans and preparing for PS. We've decided to try for CRT, Crystal Place and Chef Mickey's. I would like to make a dinner reservation on our first night, where we can see the fireworks. Think MK is having them October 4, or shall we just decide we'll watch Epcot? And where is a good place to make PS reservations so we can watch the fireworks and have our meal? Preferably with GOOD food that's a decent value. Your help is greatly appreciated!

If you want to watch EPCOT fireworks you can go for the Rose and Crown in the UK and get a 7.30 PS. I've not eaten here but I've heard the food is good quality and value.

Or you can go for the counter service option and watch them from the Cantina San Angel at Mexico - typical Fast mexican food.

As far as fireworks at MK are concerned you need to have eaten before the fireworks start. To my mind there aren't erally any restaurants that you can sit and eat and watch the fireworks. If you do decide on that then Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern would be my choices.

If you are looking at viewing the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, I would recommend dinner at either the 1900 Park Fare (character buffet) or O'Hana's (family-style meal). Both of these are very good for dinner. After dinner, you can head out to the beach to watch the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom. I would avoid Chef Mickey's for dinner, like the plague. I may be the minority, but had dinner here on my last trip and it was AWFUL. Complete waste of money. It's great for breakfast, though.

If you are looking for EPCOT, I would recommend a PS (request a patio table) at the Rose & Crown. This way you can eat, then watch Illuminations right from your table. Le Cellier & the Garden Grill (character meal, family-style) are both very good places to dine as well.
