meal plan?

I booked a stay at the All Star Movies for 3/5-3/12 in November when they were running a special. Now I see that they have some type of dining plan. I already bought park hoppers in 2004. Is it even possible to get the meal plan or do I have to get tickets with it? How does the plan work and how much does it cost?

You have to buy room, tickets and dining plan to get the package with the dining plan. It is $35/day/adult and $10/daychild. Everyone on the package has to get the same tickets. The tickets can be whichever options you choose, but the meal plan has to be check in day to check out day. It includes a snack, a counter service meal and a sit down meal per day.

Just to say, that if you booked the room at a special and got the tickets in 2004, you already saved yourself a good amount of money and I wouldn't worry about missing out on the dining plan. If you are like us, you try to budget meals too. We don't eat at a sit down restaurant every day and we typically eat breakfast in the room and I bring small snacks to the parks.

You can call disney and ask them to do a comparison on the 2 plans. Just tell them you dont want to make any changes yet. I did this a couple of weeks ago and it helped. I originally had a 5 day/4night Dream Maker +silver plan. After reviewing the plans with them I changed to a 7 day/6 night MYW plan plus dining and I still saved about $350.00. I originally planned on having to have $1000.00 for food ( we will be in FL for 8 days) Now almost all my Disney meals are included in the plan. It initially saved me around $800.00 but since I added 2 days onto the plan it dropped those savings down a bit. Try it just to see.
