meal plan using old tickets?

We have tickets we purchased to use all year....(currently we have 5 plus days and 4 regular)...I have booked 2 rooms for this Spring Break and my question is this...we are staying 4 nights at disney (so we'll have days left for later this year )can we buy the meal option for just the 4 nights or does it have to be for the ENTIRE 9 remaining days...or do we have to buy a new ticket to do this option? I am soooo confused

The dining option is an add-on for packages ONLY. That means that you must purchase tickets and room together. You can't get it for one option OR the other - it must be for both.

You must also have it from the day you check in to your Disney resort until the day you check out.

So it has nothing to do with how many days are on your tickets. If you want it, you must book a package for your 4 nights.

From what I understand, You do not have to buy the park tickets, for the entire stay, as part of the package. You can buy any park tickets, and make a package with it. You could supplement your old tickets, with the new tickets. The meal plan is for each night of your stay, 4 nights = 4 sit down meals, 4 counter, and 4 snacks, per person.
