Meal Plan at Christmas

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but does anyone know if you can use the Disney dining plan for dinner on Christmas Day in the restaurants? We are visiting then and have boked Citricos for Christmas dinner, but I now see it is a set menu for $55 and I wondered if we can use the plan that day. Thanks for your help.

We are going to be at wdw 12/24-12/29 and have the dining plan and there was no problem when making adr's for the holiday. We were not told of any restrictions for that day. In the past, we have had to put CC down for xmas and NYE, but not this time(I asked).

We had to put a Credit Card down for two of our reservations for Christmas and Christmas Eve. We didn't have much of a choice booking really late.

I can't see why not, especially since Citricos is a Signature (two-credit) restaurant anyway.

You might want to call Disney Dining and confirm, but I agree you should be fine.

Frankly however, for a $55 fixed-price meal I think I'd pay OOP rather than use 2 TS credits per person. That's a one TS price as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe I'm doing the math wrong but a $55 meal plus tax and tip is a $68.50 meal. 2 days of DDP costs $76 so that leaves $7.50 of "value" to buy two counter service meals and two snacks. Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me if your goal is not to use all of your table service credits on the absolute most expensive things you possibly can.
