Hello:
First time to bring fam to WDW (Sat., Nov. 13th-Sat., Nov.20th). It will be me, DH, DS (8), DS (7), DD (5), my Mom and Dad. My MIL will join us midweek (Nov. 17th) and stay until the end.
My DH and MIL are NOT Disney maniacs (I know...these people DO exist! However, truth be told, they've only been once for a day, so this trip may convert them
)
Anyway, in order to keep my DH sane, I am planning a dinner for just him and his Mom (no having to remind kids about table manners and it gives him a rest from the in-laws! Oh...and don't worry...he and I have our night out (Sun, Nov.14th) and my parents will have their California Grill/fireworks dinner out on Fri., Nov. 19th...so everyone gets some "adult time"!). So, the days it would work out best on are either Wednesday, Nov. 17th (when we plan to do AK EMH 5pm-8pm and have dinner at Sanaa) or on Thursday, Nov. 18th when we plan to head over from our hotel (WL) to DHS for the 6:30pm Fantasmic!.
I am guessing they are okay with skipping Fantasmic!, but if not, I'm thinking they could catch a late ressie after it.
Anyway, DH wants no part of planning (again...can you BELIEVE that! I live for planning!
) So, I'm figuring out restaurants for them. Of these, which would you recommend based on experience? Also, if they DO plan to do Fantasmic!, what time would you plan the ADR for?
-Wolfgang Puck Cafe
-Chefs de France
-Captain's Grill
It will probably need to be a 1 TS credit meal. (Otherwise, HBD might be the slam dunk!) Any other suggestions in/near DHS, in case they decide to do Fantasmic!? Any other ideas?
Thanks!
