Has anyone used the park meal deal?

If so did you find it worth it. How do they stop people from sharing food?

I didn't get it but wish I did. I usually like to eat burgers anyway and for $20 bucks a day I think it'd be worth it. I'd love to hear from some folks that have used it and let us know if it's worth it.

We bought the "all you can eat" meal deal at Universal in Hollywood last summer and loved it. Already bought them for our upcoming trip to Orlando in November. My guys are not fancy eaters.. they love their pizza, burgers, chicken tenders/nuggets and pasta so it was worth every penny to us. We also got lucky in that they gave us the all you can drink mugs for free that day too. :)

Yes, if you like burgers, fries, and other "park fare," and if you have a big appetite as well as are planning on spending all of your time in the parks.

Also, I believe there is an option for adding on dinner at select places on/in City Walk. You have a set menu you can choose from; its $6 extra and does not include dessert or drinks.

As for preventing sharing, I don't know how they monitor it. Just don't do it; if too many people abuse it, then it will be gone. Shell out the extra $ for whomever wants to eat and use the plan wisely. Meaning, plan your meals so you get your $'s worth each day. I'm pretty sure you'll make out with the meal deal because of the cost of food (if you have a big appetite and do not choose to get other food throughout the day). You can even have a very light breakfast (say a piece of fruit and light yogurt or 1/2 a PB sandwich with a glass of juice or piece of fruit) and eat an early lunch with your meal deal once the eateries open at the park.

Don't destroy what you enjoy.:thumbsup2

I don't think it makes sense unless you're eating three meals in the parks. You can eat a counter service lunch and dinner for $20 and not have your choices restricted. If you eat a redonkulous amount of food, it makes sense.

I used it one day 2 weeks ago. It was 85 with tax for a family for 4. Drinks were not included, they were another 12 dollars. total for 2 meals 97. the next day total no meal deal two meals 95 dollars. Wife did get 2 salads for dinner on meal deal day. hope that helps

I agree with last 2 posts. We've done it twice. The trip was a quickie low budget and had to save where we could. Not only were we limited at which restaurants we could eat at, you have to keep in mind that restaurants close 30 mins before the park closes. We usually go during off peak times such as Jan or Sept when parks close at 6. To squeeze lunch and dinner before 5 pm made us ill. Without the meal deal, we'd be eating lunch around 1 and dinner around 7.
We get sick of burgers and fries really fast!
