Someone posted on another thread that you can share so I am very confused. If say my DH got a meal ticket and got a meal, can't he go back to get more food since it is all you can eat? How would they know whether you are sharing or no unless there are spys out watching everyone with and without wristbands Same with my kids. They don't eat a whole lote so I know it is definitely not worth it to get a meal ticket for them since they usually eat off of us!

Multiple trips to feed a family with just one or two paying is stealing. They may or may not catch you just the same way you may or may not be caught shoplifting. Now that I have said my moral piece, do whatever your concience and/or pocketbook dictates.

I was there last year and bought the meal deal and every person in my family did as well, regardless of how much they eat. We did notice that there are workers that walk around and look closely to see if you have a wristband and whatnot. They kind of just lurk around the restaurant.

I'm sure people have done the sharing thing, and that is why we see the prices of the wristbands increase constantly. It's the people who don't follow the rules who ruin it for the rest of us!

I am understanding this correctly, that with the meal deal, it is all you can eat? (I would certainly get one for each person) but does this mean that if my DH or DS wants more food at lunch they just go get more... and its one price for the entire day?

What are the food choices? Is it useable at both parks?

I wanted to add for those who were thinking about sharing.....that would make for a miserable time because by the time you got through the line again....the rest of your party could be long since finished with the first round of food you brought to the table and waiting on you. I don't know about you, but my time is worth more than that! Really, I think you'd be happier skipping the meal deal and sharing meals if you want to save money. Another point to remember is that water in a cup is FREE at the CS restaurants and soft drinks cost $2.39 for a small and $2.99 for a large.

to me sharing this deal would be like sharing at a buffet all you can eat.
I am going to buy this for my teen son for our trip in May,we are going to be there for 5 days so I am buying the meal deal for 2 of those days.I like being prepaid for our trip.LOL..... I have also purchased gift cards for the Hard Rock for lunch as well as Jimmy Buffets. My kids for Easter are getting the 25.00 gift cards for Hard Rock.

t-and-a gave you some great info about the meal deal but I'll weigh in with my opinion. It is the one of the few things that universal does wrong. I personally find that it is geared towards teens (and those that eat like them) and wish it was more like WDW's meal plan. Just my 2 cents.

I agree,I think this is great for teens because then it is prepaid plus they get to stop in & eat when they want to.LOL

You are absolutely right! It does make more sense to just buy individual meals here and there then spend the extra money on the meal tickets. The only one who can eat alot is my DH so maybe he can get a meal deal and the rest of us just eat whenever we want.
