Meadows Snack Bar

Meadows snack bar which looks like the only counter service says that it is open seasonnally. Would it be open at the end of September?

Meadows snack bar is located at the main pool at Ft Wilderness. Never stayed here but it was listed under food selections for Ft Wilderness and I found a menu.

This isn't really a dining plan question and I'm not sure the Restaurant board would as easily come up with the answer as the Camping board so I will move it to Camping.

It should still be open then...the hours are somewhat limited, like 11am - 5pm.

If you get there, try the Southern Smothered Hot Dog!

And, if you are staying at the Fort and looking for a full CS option, it's real easy to get to the Wilderness Lodge by either boat or bus, and Roaring Forks there is very good!

We were at the Fort in during the first two weeks of November 2009 and, yes, the snack bar at the pool was open. The food choices, while tasty, were limited. Hope this helps!
