ME- what would you do?

Our info: first trip, 5 and 7 yr old surprise trip

We are getting in late on a Friday and staying at an airport hotel. We will take their shuttle back to MCO in the morning and jump on ME (thus revealing the big surprise) The cm on the phone said I would just need to show up at the DME desk and let them know of my reservation at POR. My plan is to get up early, drop our bags at POR and head to a park ASAP. What time would you get back to the airport and do you see any flaws or misinformation in my plan?

Nope all is good with that plan.

If you want to get a full day in the park I would plan to be back at the airport around 7am. Count on your DME wait/ride being about 90 minutes....it could be a little less or more. When you arrive at POR you can leave your luggage in the luggage room, check in at the front desk and head off to a park for the day. They can text or call you when your room is ready. You might even be lucky and get a room early in the morning when you arrive....it does happen just don't plan on it.

Sounds great. Make sure you have a ME reservation. You just need to tell them your flight gets in on the day you want to catch the ME. You can also find a flight number that gets in about when you want to be on ME.

You do need to have a reservation with ME, but I don't know that you need to provide a flight number. Tell them you'll be arriving at MCO around 'x' time.

Personally, I'd probably plan on getting back to MCO around 9. But that's more because of what it takes to get my family going in the morning.

The Magical Express reservation will go quicker if you have in mind a flight, any flight, any airline. The reservationist may or may not ask for that information. Going to Disney you do not have to be punctual for the DME bus time you get.
