There are no pre-set DME bus routes, and no pre-set groupings of resorts on the same buses, so therefore there's NO WAY to know in advance which other resorts' guests will be on the same bus with you, or what the order of drop-off/pick-up will be.

If you have any other specific questions, there are many of us here who are happy to respond. For more general info, check out the first post or two in one or more of the DME-related sticky threads at the top of the Transportation forum.

For your travel from the airport to the BoardWalk Resort, there's no telling what other resorts your DME motorcoach will go to, or in what order. It's based on actual demand at the time. The DME people do their best to get guests onto WDW-bound DME motorcoaches without having to wait too long. The last time we went to the BoardWalk Resort, we were the first stop. But that doesn't mean it's always like that.

For your travel back to the airport, there's more of a set pattern and schedule. A DME motorcoach picks up at the BoardWalk Resort at set times every 30 minutes. I've taken DME home from the BoardWalk Resort 3 times. Each time, we made a stop at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and then it was nonstop to the airport. There's no guarantee that it will always be this pattern.

You will 'most likely' be grouped with YC/BC. I've taken DME to BC and BW several times now, and that has been the grouping. We even stopped at the Swan one time...at the time, if you booked through Mears, and paid, you were put on the DME bus. I actually overheard this family, that was getting off at the Swan, say what a great way to get to WDW for such a cheap price!!! Should have seen her face when the passenger in the seat ahead of her turned and said.."And if you stay at YC you get it for free!!!" Poor thing thought she was being gyped. I explained how DME worked and she felt better.
But, I digress....it should take you about 70 mins (give or take a few) from deplaning to your resort....a bit less if you are the first stop, a bit more if you are the last stop.

I do have a question. Is the me bus just like the buses that take you from your resorts to parks, I am visually impared and I was just wondering if I will have a hard time getting on to the bus. I don't know if we should just take a town car or will we be ok.

The buses for Disney's Magical Express are not like the WDW transportation buses. The DME buses are deluxe intercity motorcoaches with individual plush seats for everyone.

There are plenty of people to help you in the DME area at the airport. In fact, all DME passengers are guided to the correct motorcoach. (It's not like the Disney bus stops at the parks and resorts). And when it's time to go back, you can undoubtedly get help at the resort. The driver always gets out of the motorcoach to assist with any bags that need to go into the cargo hold.

A huge advantage of DME over a towncar is that you bypass baggage claim with DME, because your bags are delivered to your room.

Regardless of whether you take DME or a towncar, you'll still need to use WDW transportation buses to get around WDW.

When you make DME reservations, the reservationist can note any special needs or special requests.

Thank you horace horse collar,This sounds great, and I think I will give it a try. Thanks again:thumbsup2
