Does anyone know the number to call to add ME to reservations? Also if we use VA DTD check in can we take the ME to the airport without the luggage?

Hi,

The number for Disney's Magical Express is 001 866 599 0951. I can't see any reason why you couldn't use Virgin DTD check in and then use DME to get to the airport.

Hi Jill,

I agree with Andy. I was thinking about doing this but in the end I decided it was too much effort to make our way to DTD to check in our luggage, and then back to our resort!

Thanks guys! Karen - it is a hassle having to go to DTD then back to the hotel but I want to make sure the luggage gets checked the whole way to Belfast - don't know if ME can do this!

Hi

You can check in your luggage dtd. I would try and get there as early as possible, apparently lines start early. You cant check your luggage in at the hotel unless its with certain airlines. It maybe you will need to book a taxi getting it on the normal wdw transportation would be nightmare.

At least once the luggage has gone you can go off somewhere for a while and enjoy your last day. We were going to do this last year, but decided to wait at the hotel as they take your luggage from the room and keep hold of them for you.

Thx -we will have a rental car but don't collect it until our second day and then return it the day before we come home! Think we will get a taxi from GF to DTD. Don't want to check bags at the hotel as they may not be able to check them through to Belfast.

Jill - this might be a stupid comment so please ignore me if there are reasons for you to not do this - but would it not be as easy / cheap to keep the hire car an extra day and use that to do DTD check in the morning, and then drive to MCO later and return it there?
