If the trip I am planning actually happens, we will be landing around 10:30pm at MCO. We are planning on staying the first night at a value and then switch to a deluxe with concierge services. I know that bell services will likely not deliver the bags that night since it will be so late so can I request that they be delivered the next day to the new resort instead? Will concierge be able to help? We will be at park opening the first morning of our trip so I think it will be too early to get our bags at that point as well. Clear as mud?:confused3

You should be able to let bell services to hold your bags for that night . Then when someone gets up early the next day just have them tell BS to transfer them over to your new place.

Now if it was me And the Park we were going to was close to where we were staying I would have someone go and check-in that morning as well so you in their system when your bags arrive.

You have to have your bags delivered to the resort you are going to...in your case they have to go to the value resort. You can not have them delivered to the resort you are going to the next day. Of course, the value resort can have them delivered to your next resort, but you won't see those bags until late afternoon. So.....if I were you, I would not tag my bags, I would go to baggage claim and get them myself, and bring them on the bus with me.
Then, either have the resort move them to the next resort, or take a cab, with your bags to the next resort. It would seem that you want to be at a park bright and early, so a cab may not be a good idea.
This is how I handle moving to a new resort....
I get my bags to bell services very early in the morning. At a value you are better off taking them yourself, rather than waiting for bell people to come to your room and take the bags. Then I head to a park. Around mid-day, I head to the new resort, checkin. Sometimes my room has been ready, sometimes not. But, at least I've checked in. Then I grab a bite to eat and head out to a park again. Now, if you aren't picky about what room you end up in, you can forget about leaving the park midday...just head to the new resort at your leisure.
Your bags will get to the new resort some time after 5:00 that afternoon. Be sure to have anything you may need that day with you. I got stuck needing my bathing suit one time. It was brutally hot, I didn't want to be in the parks anymore, but my room wasn't ready and I would have loved to swim. But dopey me had left my suit in my bags that I had had moved. Duh!!

If it was me, here is what I would do. Use the Yellow tags. Have what I need for bed and the parks the next day in my carryon.

When I arrive at my Value resort, tell the front desk that I want my bags held, tell luggage service I want my bags held. Also tell the front desk and luggage service that I need my carryons picked up from the room after xx:xx in the morning and delivered to my new resort.

Before leaving the room the next morning stack my carryons next to the door with a couple of dollars on top.

Then before getting on the bus, drop by luggage services one more time and confirm all this.

Then head for the parks.

For my lunch break, I would drop by my new resort and check in and tell the bell services personnel at my new resort that luggage services from the Value resort should be delivering x number of pieces of luggage today.
