Hello
I am trying to figure out which flights arrive at MCO early am hours weekdays.
We are arriving the night before check in and staying at a hotel and using ME at airport following morning.

We'd like to get to resort EARLY if possible, so I am looking to determine which flight comes in at MCO like 6ish.
Does anyone know how to figure this out and can explain it to me.

Our luggage tags came today, with the wrong flight info for our arrival. I'd like to call and give them another flight number rather than just "showing up" at the counter on our check in day.

HOW does one go about doing this??

ANY suggestions would be helpful. We'd like to avoid having to "wait " for a bus to fill, so I am thinking earlier is better? Any thoughts?? TIA!!

Well, the easy way would be to call the toll-free number and tell them what you're doing. Each Guest named on the resort reservation is entitled to one ride from the airport to Disney on or after the date the reservation starts and one ride from Disney to the airport on or before the date the reservation ends.

If you don't want to do that - go to one of the online travel sites. Search for flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, etc. that leave as late as possible for Orlando and arrive early in the morning. Use one of these flight numbers.

As long as your luggage tags have the right resort I would not worry about the flight info.
In Feb I was booked on an afternoon flight but instead I flew stand by for a 6:00 a.m. flight. My bags arrived at the resort with no problem and I had no problem riding on the ME at an earlier time.

So you should not have to worry about anything.

As far as waiting for a bus to fill before it leaves.. Trust me there will be enough people in line to almost fill the bus. Usually the ME bus you get on goes to at least 3 resorts.

I wouldn't attach the luggage tags if the OP isn't going to WDW on the day their flight arrives. There won't be any "them" at the Disney resort to receive the luggage. Instead, they'll be bringing their luggage to the first hotel with them, then back to the airport, then to the DME bus.

Thanks for the help so far, everyone. Was away from the computer.

Actually we're staying at the Hyatt in MCO, the night we arrive because it is a late arrival. I'd rather travel to POR first thing in the morning rather than late that night. Figured we'd get a fresh start the next morning, which is our actual vacation start at disney.

I did receive our ME tags, (which I was not going to use as we normally pull our own luggage)
My concern was walking up to the ME counter early AM on our actual arrival date versus when our original flight info says (on ME tag, which is in afternoon; I changed the flight)
SO, if I understand you all...................

I do not have to update ME that we'll be arriving earlier on our check in date, just walk up to counter with our reservations

OR
I call now and explain that we're arriving night before and staying at airport, but still need our transport on arrival day for morning????

Does anyone have an opinion with which is better???? I'd gladly call and explain, but thought it might get too involved.......
Anyone know what time is earliest we can go to ME????

Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

As long as you have the correct arrival date on your DME reservation, it doesn't matter what time you show up. They really don't care about what time you arrive....it isn't as if you are 'assigned' to a particular bus.
I don't think you will have any trouble at all.
You may find a bit longer wait though. It seems that those arriving very early, or very late, find there just aren't as many buses. DME has buses running frequently at the busier times of day, with fewer buses on duty before 9am and after 9pm.

Thanks for clarifying Diane.
Perhaps we'll just grab some breakfast and wait till 8-9 to go to the ME counter!

I was there 6/14-20 last month. A friend was coming in on 6/17. I called DVC and gave them her info (I had a rental car). Her DME paperwork came showing an arrival of 6/14! It was not a problem, she used the tags and got on the bus. The luggage was in our room when we returned in the afternoon.

You've gotten good advice here... but just for fun, I looked up some early morning flights (www.flightstats.com is a good tool).

Tomorrow, the first flight in the morning is due in at 6:00 from Puerto Rico. Then a bunch of red eyes due in from LA soon after 6AM. DL 1480 or UA 274 for example.
