ME or No ME?

My wife and I are traveling by car to WDW this year.

Our schedule:

Aug 11th - Aug 13th SSR

Aug 13th - Aug 17th DCL

Aug 17th - Aug 21st BWI IKC

My dilema:

While on a one day trip today my wife popped the question regarding parking our car at BWI and taking ME from BWI to DCL. Then back to BWI for our stay. I thought I read somewhere when you book deluxe there's free transportation. I didn't book ME with any resort or DCL. Thought we were driving to and from all destinations.

Need some advice - cost - if I can still book it?

Disney Cruise Line ground transportation is about $35. per person each way between resort and port.

(There is also the DCL round trip from airport to resort to port to airport, costing about $70. where you would be skipping the first leg and then getting back to the resort from the airport is still the free Magical Express for which a separate advance reservation is needed.)

There may be an issue regarding leaving your car on property while you are gone for the trip. I am sure something can be arranged even after you get there, such as parking in the overflow lot across from Boardwalk, or using valet parking.

Inquire about discounts for DCL ground transportation if you booked a deluxe package.

Just to clear things up, ME is free to anyone staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel at WDW. ME provides transportation to and from the airport(not the cruise port). To get to your cruise you would need to arrange the transfer with DCL, the cost may still be worth it though, parking at the port can be expensive. That still leave the problem of what to do with your car will on the cruise, if the resort(either one) is not busy you could probably leave your car in the lot, but you will need to get a parking pass from the resort, so it may or may not be possible.
