ME Luggage Tags

Sorry, I'm not exactly sure where to post this, so mods you can move it if needed...

We just received our stuff from Disney's Magical Express for our May trip. Are they no longer sending the nice plastic luggage tags with the castle on them? All we received are the yellow sticky ones. Just wondering, before we call and bother them for not sending then Thanks!

The luggage tags are part of the perks of having a package. Did you book a deal with tickets and meals included with your room? If so, you should have gotten those tags. (At least, that's how it used to work. )

I've only gotten the hard plastic tags from my travel agent when my documents came in. The magical express have always been the sticky ones. I'm not sure if that's still the case for the plastic ones cause I joined DVC and don't get those anymore. I did just get the sticky ones for the ME in the mail the other day for my trip next week!

We didn't get them either, but I think you have to buy the Magic your Way package deal to get them. I don't think they are a part of ME. I could be wrong though...I'm sure someone will correct me if I am!!!

The yellow sticky tags are for Magical Express so they can identify your bags to pick them up at the airport in baggage claim. The plastic tags with the castle on them are for people who have booked packages. We have recieved them the past 4 years. A couple of years ago they were tinker bell and the past 2 they have been the castle. Beware when you put the yellow tags on, if they're on too tight, you can't remove them and start again.

I ditto what the previous posters said. I get plastic tags, along with the DME yellow tags, when I book a package through a TA. Otherwise, I just get the DME tags.

Yes, we booked MYW Package with Park Hopper. We've always gotten them in the past. Thanks Bradk, maybe they just haven't made it here yet.

We just got ours and they came with reservation package not the magical express pack.

Ditto that. I got the DME stuff about a week ago and then today, all the official reservation paperwork arrived with the plastic tags.
