ME? Is this normal?

Been taking ME since it's inception so this took me by surprise. Made airline ressies last week and then went and made our ME ressies for our upcoming trip 11/8/2015. This morning our ME package arrived in the mail. I wasn't expecting to receive them until 5 weeks prior to our trip. Is this something new getting them this early prior to the trip?

Some people get them early (we have), some don't.
No sure there's any rhyme or reason to it.

For years, we'd receive the DME info about 6 weeks before our arrival. This year we received our DME info in January for our November trip.

And I didn't get mine until a few days ago at 32 days out from my trip. Seems to be quite random.
