Just wondering how far in advance I need to make ME reservations to be sure of getting the yellow tags and booklet prior to departure.

I usually make ME arrangements right after I buy our plane tickets, but this time I am hoping to do a split stay. I won't know where we are staying for our first two nights until about 30 days prior to arrival. Can I safely wait that long to make ME arrangements?

TIA.

You should be fine.
We made reservations <10 days out and had tags in time, they actually sent them priority. Were with a high school sports team competing at WWOS so had special pricing for hotel/tickets but called the standard ME line to set that up. Don't know if they normally expedite the tags/info or if it was because of the sports angle that they did that. But with ~30 days it should be no problem either way

Not an issue. DME tells us they need 10 days to get our packets/tags printed up and mailed out to us. So, 30 days is a piece of cake for them.
