ME if one night at airport hotel prior to WDW

need the help of the disboards again
i originally booked a stay from 10 to 20th May, but now we need to add another night prior to that. now, the promotion that was running when i originally booked my trip ran out a few weeks ago, so now i can't add on without seriously paying $$$$$ more.
so now i thought about booking one night for us in the hyatt orlando airport hotel prior to going to our stay in OKWl. if i do this, can i still make use of the ME ? and if so, how do i do this ?
if we don't use the ME, what would be the easiest way to get to WDW (we're with 5 adults, one kid) and how much would it cost us ?

Yes you can do this. Tell ME that you are arriving at MCO the day your OKW stay begins. Pick a dummy airline/flight that arrives about the time you want to head to WDW and give them that info.

The only trick is that you'll have to handle your own bags. Get them at baggage claim when you arrive and drag them up one flight to the Hyatt for that night. The next day, drag them over to the ME location and have them put under the bus you are on.
