ME if Not Flying in That Day

So my DH has just had a business trip scheduled in a town a couple of hours away from Orlando right before our trip. So he's going to fly down to MCO Wednesday, pick up the rental car drive over for his work trip, and then on Friday drive back to MCO to drop off the rental car. I won't arrive until late in the evening on Friday, so he was hoping to take ME over to the resort whenever he drops off the rental car, but he was wondering if he can still take ME if he didn't fly in?

No problem as long as you are traveling during your WDW reservation it doen't matter how you get to MCO or where you go after.

Call DME directly to make the arrangements or just pick a flight that arrives around the time he wants to travel via DME to the resort.

Yes, you can do this!! we just did a similar thing in July. We flew into MCO and rented a car for 8 days to go to Melbourne and we HAD to return the car to the airport or pay a ridiculous rate. After the Melbourne portion of our trip, we went and checked in at POP (for our second weeks stay in FL) and dropped my and DD's luggage off so DH could help us. Then we took DH back to MCO as he had to come home to go to work, DD & I turned the rental in, & then boarded ME to get back to the hotel. Just call ME directly and let them know what is going on and they will generate a boarding pass for your husband as he is entitled to use the service since he is staying on property. There is no need to make up a 'dummy flight'. Enjoy your trip!
