ME: From landing to check-in

I'm curious... For those who have used ME, approximately how long was it from the time you landed to when you were all checked in at the resort? In the past we have taken towncars and were in our rooms about 2 hours after landing (with a grocery stop). I'm just trying to plan our timeline now that we will be using ME.

I really think it depends on the day and time of your flight. We usually get the first flight out, land at 8:20am and head directly to DME. Every time we've waited less than 10 minutes before pulling out and heading to our resort. So from the time we land until check in at the resort it's been less than an hour. It also depends on how many resorts you have to stop at before reaching your resort. There are a lot of variables.

avg time from plane to resort has been reported here many times at 70 minutes. You could get there a little quicker or slower. Check in will depend on how many people are in line. Our last trip, we sat in the front row of the bus and I was the first off and in line... saved some time. DW and the kids took their time getting off the bus and we were all set quickly.

Jan 31 landed at 1pm. (then a loooong taxi to the gate). But when I walked into my roon at Pop it was just about 2:30. So about 90 min.

It has taken me.......55 mins, 65 mins, 70 mins, and 90 mins. The 90 min ride was the one time AKL was dropped off first and POP was last.And there seemed to be an inordinate amount of luggage being taken out from under the bus at AKL. I wonder if there was a larger than normal group that didn't 'tag' their bags. Otherwise it has been closer to 65-70 mins each time....that seems to be my average time.

I have never taken more than an hour to get there. How long it takes you will start with how long it takes you to get from the gate to the DME desk. Stopping to shop, use the restroom, eat, etc. will cause the times to vary.

It was 30 min, as I was the FIRST to be dropped off, than in Aug of last year, it was more like 55 min from Airport to 2 Hotels besides mine, but I landed late in the afternoon around 6 and I think that was why. This past trip 2 weeks ago, it was about 40 min as I was the Only one for AKL and the other guests(4) were for POP it was't that bad of a ride!

I just want to be clear...my times have been from the moment I got off the plane to the moment I got to my resort..that includes any restroom stops before hitting the tram. And I always make a restroom stop!!!

45 minutes from landing to Pop check in line in August at 11:15 am. I wouldn't expect it to be like that all the time but it was nice for our first time using it.

Wow!!! That beats my best time when using a towncar and having only carryon luggage!!!! And I was at POP that time.

Like most of you, I have had differing times based on circumstances. In May of last year, it was about 50 minutes and we were the first stop, but we waited quite a while at the airport for more people to put on the bus. In October OKW was the first stop and SSR was the second stop. Total time was about 1 hour. We try to get the first flight out of MSP to MCO every time and we always seem to land between 11 and 1, so it's a busy time.

We used ME our last trip, and if I recall, our flight touched down around 10-10:30, we were to the hotel, checked in, and with time to spare for our Budget rental car shuttle which was scheduled to pick us up at our hotel at 11:30. So about an hour for us, but I imagine it does depend on time of day, time of year, etc. This was mid September 2005.

We used ME on our trip over Xmas, we landed at MCO on Dec. 23rd, and it was about an hour from touchdown and we were at our resort, check in took about 5 minutes at the most.
