ME drop off have to be your hotel??

We are arriving in Orlando at 5:00 and have 7:30 dinner reservations at Whispering Canyon but are staying at Beach Club. Will the bus drop us off at Wilderness Lodge or do we have to go straight to Beach Club?

You will be dropped off at the resort on your reservtion only. After you check in I would suggest a cab to the Wilderness Lodge, if not you have to take a bus to the MK, and a boat/bus to the WL.
Another option is to boat/walk to the Studios then take a bus to WL.

If 5:00 is your flight arrival time, it is very unlikely that you will make your 7:30 reservation at Whispering Canyon, even if you do take a cab from the Beach Club, but taking a cab will narrow the time a little.

If you're having luggage delivered, I think you have to be checked in at the Beach Club before they will deliver it. So add the time you will spend checking into the resort if you are expecting a luggage delivery.

So I assume the reverse is true as well? Our flight home leaves at 2pm so I expect an 11am (approx.) pickup for ME. If I wanted to go to another resort for breakfast that morning I couldn't take ME from that resort to the airport instead of returning to my own?

ME will only pick you up at your resort.

I would either cancel ME or change the dinner. The one time I took ME, it was well over 2 hours from landing till we got to our resort (BWI). My kids were really hot and cranky (so was I but made the best of it). We took a cab back to the airport.

That isn't typical. Generally, ME takes somewhere between 70 and 90 minutes, but obviously delays are possible. Delays are also possible with a taxi or a town car.

I would change your dinner plans.
