no info will be sent to confirm that we have ride back to airport. Told to just checkin night before.
Booked arrival through WDW as I'll be going to Pop. Booked departure through DVC as we'll be leaving from BWV.
Has this happened to anyone else? Have any trouble on the return?

This is how it works:

Each DME reservation requires a room reservation number to attatch to. For your situation, they can't have the departure on the Pop reservation, because it falls outside the room reservation. So, in your case, you have two seperate DME reservations.

When you check in at the DME counter, at first, they will not see a return trip. Let them know you have a seperate reservation because you are transferring resorts, and they will confirm that for you.

The day prior to departure, you will recieve a transportation notice on your door with departure time. If for some reason you don't get that notice, just visit the Lobby Concierge desk, and they will confirm your information and give you a bus voucher.

When we stayed at BCV last summer, we booked thru MS. I have to say that I was surprised when they also booked my return since I was leaving from POR. But MS said it was no problem. Worked very well.
Now....so that those of you that are new to DME and are afraid of making some kind of mistake or looking like an idiot...let me share my experience from yesterday with you all...

I've used DME about 3 times now..I think I'm pretty conversant in how it works..heck, I've been handing out advice on it here for almost a year. So..yesterday I get on the phone, call DME to make our reservations for our trip in May. When the rep asks me for my resort conf. number, I just go 'ahhhhh, don't have it yet...oops!' I had gotten so completely caught up in my planning and was so sure that I was staying at POP that I neglected the fact that I hadn't actually called and made my reservations yet!!! DUH!! You have to have a resort booked first. So..you see? Anyone can mess up. I'm sure I was that reps good laugh for the day. :lmao:
