Hello. I just made our ME reservation. We have a split stay, and I was only asked to provide the resort that we're going to...not the one we're getting picked up FROM. Both resorts are under the same reservation number. Do I need to contact Disney about this, or because it's the same reservation number, they know our comings and goings? Thanks!

I tried doing the same thing online for our upcoming split stay between BLT and BWV. When I received our ME package it had that we were going directly to BWV, and being picked up from there as well. It also didn't have any of our arriving flight information, and there were no luggage tags in the package.

When I called ME to rectify, the CM I spoke to was very confused, as she advised that she had never seen MS use 1 reservation number for a split stay. It took her several minutes to figure out how to input the correct information with only 1 reservation number. We received a new package a couple of days later - which was great considering we live in Canada and it tends to take a little longer.

If you have time, you could just wait and see what happens when you receive your package and then call to correct if necessary. Having said that, I think that I will be calling to add ME in the future when I am doing a split stay instead of using the online option - I hate having to do the same thing twice;)

Good luck.

I agree...I don't like redundancy, either. Is this new, the same reservation number? If not, I don't understand the confusion. Split stays aren't new.

When the computer system was upgraded in October, DVC started putting everything under 1 travel plan, which means that all reservations are under the same #.

In the past, with split stays, each one had its own number.

This is the message I received last night from Disney:

"We appreciate your interest in Disney's Magical Express. Your Disney's
Magical Express reservation has been set up correctly, with your inbound
drop off at Disney's Boardwalk Villas and your outbound pick up at
Disney's Beach Club Villas."

So, with the same reservation number, it's seamless!

Thanks for posting about this! We are doing the same thing (split stay, wanting ME to bring us to first resort and pick us up from second resort). I received an auto-emailed confirmation when I submitted my ME reservation information online, and responded to that email asking how to arrange the pick up from our second resort. I received a message just like the PP ("Our records indicate that Disney's Magical Express has been arranged to take you and your family from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to
Orlando International Airport."). This email didn't say anything about our initial drop-off at AKL, though! I would feel better if I had a message confirming both parts of our ME, but hopefully everything is OK in their system. Guess I'll have to wait until I get the packet & tags to be sure! :shamrock:

I just received my DME info this past week and everything was listed correctly with my arrival to BWV and departure from BLT... ironically though the day we got them we were able to extend our vacation so we had to contact DME about the new arrival date lol

we are staying for 10 nights at POFQ but 1 night beforehand at ASMO due to flight prices. They only sent us the POFQ tickets as well. they have us as being taken to and picked up at POFQ even though they have our flight information correct--which comes in 1 day before we ever check in to POFQ. Our ASMO is a separate reservation number so we thought it would be pretty easy to do. We have already made 3 phone calls trying to sort it out and each time the person has given us different answers as to where our ME tags are for ASMO. they even gave us 3 different dates as to when they were supposedly shipped to us!:lmao: Just our luck!:sad2:
