I plan on flying Jetblue to MCO from NY. On the day I am going there is a flight available one hour earlier to MCO. I may try and standby onto it. If I do this, however, can I still use the ME luggae service since the tags they sent wont match my flight. I assume I can take whatever bus I want when I arrive but I was not sure how the baggae would work.

It's no problem if your arrival flight changes. They pull all yellow tagged luggage in baggage claim, they are not looking for a particular flight.

If your departure flight changes, you do need to notify them so that you get the correct bus back to the airport.

I've done that myself on occasion. Here's the thing....your bags may even go on a different flight then you're on!! That's happened to me before. My bags have actually beat me to my final destination. Anyway....you will have no issues with DME at all. THey don't much care what flight you come in on. When you check in with DME upon arrival, they will ask you how many tagged bags you have. That way, they know how many bags to look for...if one were to be delayed or misdirected, they would start looking for it. You can tell them at DME the new flight number vs the original one, just in case there were to be a bag missing.
