Me, AGAIN, Pin Issues, Please help!!!

Hi, me again, I am not having much luck with purchasing trading pins. I know you can never be guaranteed that you won't get scrappers, but I am at a stand still here.

One seller was recommended to me, but when I emailed and asked if their pins were "official" disney pins, I was only told that they were tradeable at WDW. Is this a "buyer beware" signal?

I emailed another seller found on the "green" list to ask if they would sell any type of batches because I only found single pins from them on ebay and they list their pins as "official", but I have not heard back from them. I am guessing they do not want to be bothered with a multiple sale.

My friend then pulled up another seller on ebay (good feedback) selling a lot of 25 but I did not find them listed anywhere on the "list" of sellers and I do not see any additional info about their pins. The seller goes by Dpintraders. I was hoping someone would have had some feedback with this seller here on the boards.

I am starting to wonder if I am analyzing this thing too deeply?

Why not buy multiples? I do that all the time, just get the combined shipping and be good. I don't like the look of Dpintraders, they have 2 pages of pins, all in lots of 10 or 25, the prices are about $1 per pin, that's probably not legit. Now, I have not purchased from that seller so I cannot say for absolute sure but my gut says NO to Dpintraders.

My husband and I have bought lots from multiple pin sellers on ebay. We did find a few pins that might be considered scrappers, but for the most part, we were very happy with the pins we received. We kept many and traded many with no issues in the parks whatsoever.

I say buy with confidence and if you get any pins that just don't look right, throw them away. If you get many pins that don't look right, contact the seller about a refund.

If so, I hadn't thought of that but sounds like a great plan, especially if the seller states their pins are "official". I am also considering N&D, both you and another poster recommended them and I can purchase a lot from them.

I will let you know what I decide and how I make out.

yes, that's what I meant. I will buy multiples from 1 seller and pay for them together to get combined shipping.
