Are shorts OK on non formal days?
Our last three cruises were Celebrity, DCL and Princess, and I get confused!

Shorts are fine but I've often found the MDR to be cold. So I think I've ended up wearing shorts for dinner just once on a cruise.

Thank you...three night cruise and then 10 nights on land with casual and swimming times. Want to pack the least possible. :thumbsup2

Just got off the Oasis med sailing and I felt bad forcing DH and son to wear slacks and a collar shirt.. in the MDR most people were wearing shorts and t shirts.. nothing fancy at all. Formal night had more dressers but also not everyone

I would like to do at least one formal night with the fam. We plan to dress up for that night. We will play it by ear the other nights, but I know my boys will want to go casual so we can eat in other restaurants. I don't care what others do but I am not going to a formal night dressed in shorts and a t-shirt.

And you know, I think that is the right mindset. I think most of us know that the dress code is not exactly strict, so you wear what you want and don't worry about what everyone else will think.

A nice ocean view window ....we didn’t pick this room, GTY ocean view, $1400, not counting insurance.

Embarking was a breeze, we had 11-11:30 port time, and we were on the ship before 11! Room ready at 1.

If the pool on Coco Cay is fun, we have a go to get away to augment our WDW Fourth of July visit every year!
