MDE UPDATED: now tracking Dining Plan Credits.

My MDE app just updated and I got this message when I opened it:


I say it's about time they add this function to the app!

And is able to do discounts (AP) with mobile ordering as more places will probably have mobile ordering in the next year!

After the homescreen, I'm getting a link called Link Dining under My Plans. It then asks for a reservation number and the last surname.

My holiday (including hotel, park tickets and dining plan) is linked up already (shows hotel and and ticket info in app) but nothing about dining plan.

Click on your hotel reservation on the main page, the charge and dining are found on tabs there

The only change I'm not crazy about - I liked to go to Disney dining from Safari (the browser, not the attraction ) to check availability, especially on CRT which you can't reserve directly through the app. Now, it appears to roll directly from Safari into the app, rather than giving me the option to stay in Safari. I'm guessing I can turn that off, but haven't figured out how yet.

Otherwise, I like the new features.

Yes, just make sure you watch the tutorial about the updates - it shows all of the new features. If you skipped it, just uninstall and reinstall.

Is anybody on the Deluxe Dining Plan that is able to view and share the information they are seeing for that plan displayed on the app? I'm curious how it shows for that plan versus the regular dining plan.

The app has gathered all the info from my laptop so I don't have to link anything again like the hotel reservation, ADR, or note tabs BUT it will not start a countdown of remaining dining points until I check in or have paid in full for my acct I guess.Got some literature via snail mail today listing how many deluxe dining plan points I had to start with (99 pts) but 'd already figured that out myself, LOL.
Ah well back to my Excel spreadsheet for the time being.

Ooh, I didn't even know there was an update. I'll have to tell DH to update on his phone. My phone is too dumb for MDE.
