MDE & Reservations & non family in same room!

My oldest DD and two of her friends are planning a trip for this November. They will be booking next week with a travel agent.

(I'm still coming to terms with the fact she is going WITHOUT ME - she may be out of the will)

Just a question regarding MDE, and linking reservations to your account.

All three girls will be in the same room. They will be creating their reservation as a group of 3 adults.

Can they each have their own MDE account, and link the reservation to their own accounts?

Or are they best to have one MDE account (say my DD since the other two have never been) that DD adds them as family members?

Not an expert, but pretty sure you can do either. On our last trip, my wife and I had our own MDE accounts, and linked room reservation to both. But my brother just had his MDE account and managed the other members of his family who didn't have MDE accounts. If your DD is more experienced than the other two, it might make sense for her to manage everything from her MDE account. But not sure how that works if her friends want to use their phone to access FPs and ADRs from the app, guessing they would need their own MDE accounts.

Chances are, they will all likely book the same FP+ for the same things, so I can see how having it all on one could be easier for co-ordination of all of that.....

That can be done with each of them having their own MDE accounts as long as they are all connected in each others Family & Friends list.
