MDE mess (my own doing)

I have an MDE account and I have 5 adult family members listed on it. I had a travel agent make my reservation and for reasons which were important at the time, had the room booked under my adult sons name. I was able to link it to my MDE account and I was also able to link our ADR's which are also in his name. Our park hopper tickets have also been all linked and show on my account. as well as our FP+.

I also created an MDE account for my son and here's where I get really confused. His account shows our room reservation, 4 of our park hopper tickets (does not show his or mine) and it shows most of our ADR's, but not a couple.

I gather I shouldn't have opened an account for him and everything would have been fine as all our reservations show up correctly on my MDE account, but have I created a problem now?

Also, I'm worried about the Memory Maker. I purchased this in his name because I thought it was best to keep it the same as the room reservation. I have linked the memory maker to my MDE account and it's there on my page as being assigned to my son of course. Should I link it to his account too? Is there going to be a problem when I go to download the photos if I don't? On the WDW website it states "Attraction photos can only be linked to your Disney account if Memory Maker is assigned to you. Your family and friends cannot link attraction photos to their Disney account"....what does this mean?

I am so worried that I have created a mess!! It's not really feasible for me to phone customer service as I am in Australia.I would really appreciate some guidance and help from here. Please!

Whoever "bought" memory maker on their account needs to make sure that all the friends and family who will be using bands for pictures show up as being linked for MM on their account. Hard to follow what you did but MM is only thing I'd worry about. As long as you know the name on a ADR and it shows up somewhere you just have to show up. Disney doesn't care who is in your party - just the number and who's name it's under. (The rest is just for your convenience of linking info). I'd still write down the reservation number and have a list in hand for safety.

Did you receive email confirmations for all of your ADRs? You could try adding them using the reservation number in the emails. I have had ADRs that just never show up in MDX, but I got the emails. It was fine when I got to the restaurant. I even called Disney to try to get them added to MDX, but they never showed up. This was for our trip last March. It's possible that the system is acting wonky in regard to your ADRs. Sorry I can't help with Memory Maker; we have never purchased it.

Because MM is linked to your son in your MDE account using your MDE log-in info, anyone who is listed in your MDE automatically links to MM - photos get sent to MM. Only the person MM is assigned to can begin the download of photos.

You should either disregard your son's MDE account, which you know wasn't necessary, and follow everything on your MDE account or call IT to attempt to explain what you did. It would be easier to disregard his MDE.
