It worked briefly and I got a glimmer of hope. LOL
...but now it says, on all the kids when I attempt to make fastpass +.
Another error...
So...you started this thread yesterday. Yesterday there were multiple other threads talking about how the site was down and messed up and glitchy and not working correctly.
So the answer is "the site has been down, messed up more than usual, glitchier than usual, and not working correctly".
When it's "normal", I've gotten that sort of message (the "this is for invited users" or whatever message), clicked back, did what I was doing again, and the error went away. Glitches.
No offense, but I honestly can't get over the people who are like, "Meh. So the website/App is filled with funky glitches. So what? It's Disney after all! They'll eventually fix it. They're magical, remember?"
Really? It is a terrible website and has been for a year. People are spending hours of their lives dealing with its glitches. It's not OK. It's not magical. It's just not.
It's always been terrible and clunky, and the changes that started in late Fall of 2012 have made it worse.
But what is HAS done is that for those of us who have known the problems, have seen the problems and posts about them and experienced them, also know that MOST glitches, MOST scary messages, MOST "you have no reservations" messages, are WRONG. They are almost never true, nothing has been lost (usually), and it's all probably fine. And the only thing we can do is to ride it out, not panic, and try to make sure we have our confirmation emails or printouts, and try again tomorrow.
It's not an acceptance of the situation, but a way of not giving ourselves grey hair because of the situation.
Yet, I'm supposed to shrug and say oh well if it happens on
MDE.
Even our traditional family with one MDE account randomly lost some FP+ today.
But that's not what people say; you're misunderstanding. See what I said above. When there's a floop in the info shown, we can't do anything, so let's not make ourselves crazy. Yesterday they were showing things being gone that almost certainly weren't gone. That's happened time and time again in the last year+. It has happened to me. I'm not one to call and email and get scared over things like this, so I would ride it out for a day, and EVERY TIME, whether it was ADR or FP+, it came back in a day or two. Yesterday, I bet nothing was actually lost. It appeared to be, but I bet that those who just let it ride, who didn't change anything, found that their stuff came back.
No, it is not!!
The credit card stored in MDX is not one that I want to use. (I just created an account last week but old ADRs are showing up so I assume I must have used that cc to hold them? idk )
So far today, I have tried to edit/delete the card using:
*the app on my iPhone (which will let me edit the card but won't save the new info)
*firefox
*safari
*chrome
*firefox after clearing history/cookies/etc.
I should not have to work this hard to make a simple change!!
Are you in online checkin mode? If so, clear cookies cache and history and try again. Try a different browser. Wait 24 hours while their system comes back up to relatively full functioning.
If you're not, the change probably just can't be done right now.
ADRs are categorized under phone number, by the way. Not CC as far as I know.
Ok, you should call the MDE support line. ...
"that everyone was having problems" is clearly not acceptable. If there is a definite linking problem, just call them they'll fix it. Maybe I got a good tech but he seemed to know the system well.
Once the site is back to normal (and it seems to be) if the OP is still having the same issues, yep, call the tech people. I bet the online chat was just with a normal CS CM, not a tech person. Of course I could be wrong. And, also, "everyone was having problems" isn't necessarily a bad response. For me, it makes me feel better. Ahh, the site was down, it wasn't a problem with MY account, and it probably means they are working on something (because they've never heard of a master website that isn't live and is where they work on things and make things perfect BEFORE rolling it out to people, but whatever).
