MDE issues.

I was wondering if anyone can help.
I've just booked my first WDW holiday in 4 years for next October. Last time we were there in 2014 MDE was fairly new. I thought I had a good understanding but this time around it's just seeming confusing.

I am travelling with my friend, not my family, so I tried to remove them. I keep getting this message "Because this Guest has active plans, the invitation cannot be cancelled."

There are no active plans. I have managed to link my friend but I can't remove my three other guests. They haven't got MDE.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Leave your family listed and just ignore them when planning with your friend. It’s how MDE is and can’t be changed.
