MDE- inviting family to share the account

Hi,
I am the only family member wth a MDE account. I have everyone on my account and their tickets linked. I am in charge of making FP+ for everyone (daughters family, sons family, and DH&me). My concern is that if we separate in the park or they decide to change their plans, they dont have access to MDE if I'm not with them. They are ok with this but I know once we are there it will be inconvenient for them.

I know I can invite them to share the account. Should I do this before or after I make their FP? They are unfamiliar with MDE and they are afraid they will accidentally change the wrong FP, ressies, etc.

Can someone explain the benefit/risks of all of us accessing the same account I hear that sometimes it results in multiples of the same name. I dont know why this seems so confusing.

Just give everyone that might split up the email and password to access the main MDE account. Then they can individually select themselves when making same day FP's.

You can also screenshot daily plans and email/text to each family.

If they want to change up FPs, they can go to a FP kiosk and get assistance changing up their own FPs without accidentally Canceling out the complete group.

I'm in the same boat and have decided to not give out MDE login info for the fear of someone screwing it up accidentally.
