MDE help needed!

I have a couple of questions/queries Re. MDE and hope that someone may be able to help on here...

1) How do I remove someone from my account who will never be travelling with us again? When I try to delete it says I am unable to. Any suggestions?

2) Am I able to change who the 'lead' person is on MDE. The account was originally mine, but in order to link Memory Maker a few years back, we had to change the name on the account/lead guest due to my age at the time. Anyone know if it is possible to change it back?

Not sure about how to change the primary person back again, but as for the removal of a person from the account, you have to make sure that person is not involved in any upcoming plans (FP, ADR), or anything from a just completed trip for teh past 45 days. Ive been trying to remove a double entry for a friend of mine from the account and because she was involved in plans for an early May trip, I could not do it. And will not, because the photopass pix which she is in are there for 45 days. Good luck!

I remember reading in another thread that you have to call and have a CM remove someone from your MDE.

The person I want to remove from MDE hasn't had any plans since August last year, so not sure why its not letting me. I think i'll call Disney at some point, hopefully they can do it their end.

I'm in exactly the same situation. My sister bought one of her friends last year on our trip, and he won't be coming with us again, so want to remove him from my account but for some reason it won't let me. I'll give Disney a call at some point and see if they can suggest what to do. I'll update this thread once i've found out.

If there's a hard ticket or MB linked to the Profile, you won't be able to delete it yourself. You'll have to call and ask a CM to Delete for you.

I think you have solved my problem there Jen! There is a de-activated MB linked. I guessed that was probably what was causing the problems as couldn't find any other FP/ADR/Photos etc. Thanks Jen!

I've tried this in the past and it still didn't let me remove her. Did it work for you? I think I'm going to have to call Disney to have my account up to date.

I can't remove the person due to the magicband still being linked. I think I will need to call Disney to get them to sort it from their end.

Ughhh...I'm going to have to do the same. I just dislike to waste time by calling. It would be so much simple if I could do it on my end.

Yep, if they ever had a ticket attached to them you can't do it. You have to call. It's a PITA.

Yes, it is a waste of time, I agree. Calling from the UK (where I am) is expensive. I too wish they'd let us do it from MDE our end. Ah well, I suppose we have to do what we have to do.
