MDE friends/family Magic Band confusion

We listed our children by their first initials and last name only for an off site trip we took in Sept. Just booked a trip for this year, and the travel agent listed their full names. So i added them as a friend/family under their full names.

So now we have 2 parent names, 2 kids (one set w/initials only, one set with full names - so 2 ids for each of our 2 children).

Our tickets for this trip as well as the hotel ressie show up with their full names.

However, when I go to customize magic bands, it shows their orignal initial only id. No option to change it to the full name. Do I need to call IT?

Only if the name situation won't allow you to do what you need to do.

That is what I am worried about and don't know. If I customize the bands under their initial only ids and then make FPs under what I assume will be their full name ids (b/c) their tix are listed under their full names....

Then will the FP link to the magic bands??

And is there a possibility I will not be able to make FP for them b/c of the confusion?

If the tickets are NEW (never been used) you can "reassign" the new tickets in MDE to anyone.
In this case, you could reassign them to the names that you know are listed in MDE.
