I have an upcoming off-site stay in less than 30 days, and earlier this week, I made my FP+ choices on MDE, using my laptop. I visit WDW quite a bit, so I consider myself somewhat of an expert on using MDE and making it work for me.
I'll be visiting Hollywood Studios twice during my stay, and for both of my visits, I chose TSMM as my Tier 1 choice.
This morning, I signed in to MDE to do a final check of my plans, when I noticed a message - in red font/letters, accompanied by an exclamation point - that read:
There's been a change to your FastPass+ selection for Toy Story Mania! on 06/13/2014. Visit My Plans for details.
It was actually there twice - once for June 13, and once for June 15 - both days that I am visiting Hollywood Studios. So, I visit my plans, and in BOTH cases, MDE had removed my TSMM FP+ and put in one for Fantasmic.
Ack!!!
Fortunately, I was able to switch it back to TSMM - but it left me wondering:
1. Has anyone else ever noticed this on their itinerary?
2. Why would MDE do this? I'm wondering if it's going to happen again, so now I'm a bit paranoid and feel like I have to check it every day until my trip!
It never occurred to me that the man behind the curtain at MDE can go in and arbitrarily change your FP+ choices, after you've confirmed them ..
