MDE Call Wait Times

Have you tried calling right when they open? Is it something that can be handled over chat?

Unfortunately I think long wait times are the norm right now. I waited over 2 hours for the call I made last week.
 
We checked into SSR on Friday, and I needed to call Bell Services to bring our Owners Locker to us. I was on hold for 30 minutes, using the room phone, before they answered. After the first 15 minutes I tried Chat via the MDE app (still holding on the phone) and waited 10 minutes for them to answer. The Chat recommendation was for me to hang up and dial the Front Desk! Fortunately BS answered before I could try that (which I didn’t want to do, knowing that the person who answered might be anywhere in the world other than the SSR Front Desk). So getting hold of any part of Disney seems to be difficult now.
