Hi I have a My Disney Experience account, used it many times at WDW.... now I have an upcoming trip planned to DL....do I just use the same account for that? I have older NE tickets still in my MDE from WDW, those won't get accidentally used at DL,right? I plan to buy tix soon, and want to attach them to my account....

there is a Disneyland board here that is very helpful. Last time I visited was October last year. The systems weren't speaking to each other then.

Disneyland.disney.go.com

DL doesn't have anything like My Disney Experience. You don't attach your tickets to anything, we still use paper Fast Passes and don't have Magic Bands.

Disneyland has something they call "My Disney Experience", but it's very different from the "My Disney Experience" that is used in WDW. As mentioned, DLR doesn't use FP+ or Magic Bands. They do have an official app that will tell you current wait times, FP return times, show schedules, character schedules, etc. It's very useful to have, but not quite as necessary as the MDE app at WDW. If you have a DLR AP, you can link that to the official app and use it to scan into the park, but I don't know/think it's available for non-AP tickets.

It's worth noting that you can use your Walt Disney World account to log into Disneyland.com if you want to make dining reservations (WDW and DLR use the same account information because they're both part of the Disney Family of websites).

@Figment... thanks! I guess that's what I was really needing to do, since I knew about paper fp's,etc- for some reason I had thought I needed to attach tickets etc but what I really want to do is make dining res, etc. Ah! Thanks all for clearing up my confusion...

My accounts are the same. I can see ancient messages about WDW trips on Disneyland.com. It amuses me.

They aren't sooooooo separate. It's like they are keeping things as placeholders for a potential future.

But ultimately all MDE on the website is is a "my account" section.
