Just thought I would post up that our park tickets are now linking on the MDE App as well as the desktop version of MDE. Previously, park tickets would only link on desktop version so do we think Disney may be trying to get things running smoothly at last?? Hmmmmm...

I've only just found out about this app since booking a couple of weeks ago and now trying to get my head round all the new stuff like MB and FP+ etc and now i found this app.

I booked direct with Walt Disney Travel Co in the UK and have the hotel and ticket package booked with them. I tried to register on the MDE site with various email addresses i have and all seem to say the address is all ready registered but none can send me a password reminder? , fairly certain i've never registered in the past though.

Do i need to call someone in the US Disney end to set up an account to link it to my booking or is it maybe because this is all still in the testing period i can't register?

I'm not away until next September so i know i'm way early but this My Disney Experience looks appealing.

Cheers in advance for any advice.

You need to go to the main Disney website - https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/login/ - and from there is a forgot your password link.

If you have ever registered on any Disney.com website you will have an account set up.

Yay , thanks Elise. I'm sure i tried all my email address and they didn't work but tried one just now and it did , i'm now linked :)

A new toy to play with now , thank a bunch :)

my park tickets appeared in my reservations this morning as well, I think the app update helped with this one :-)

Ok so I didn't want to start a new thread as it's all about the app any way so hope you don't mind me gate crashing. I did the update on the app today and for the first time my tickets are showing in the app. YAY Can any one else show explain to me how their tickets are visible mine are like this. Is that what every one else sees? I got to personalise our bands today. And dd got one which I was surprised by as she is under 3

That looks normal to me - our package tickets from last July show like that then we have our APs on there as well.:)

Ah good. There is so much online I have read I wasn't sure. Some people said their tickets from their last trip were on there still I wasn't sure if they were from last years or the one for our next trip.

Any one else have the dining plan linked to their reservation? The description is kind if strange.
On the app ours reservation says

2014 quick service

2014 2 quick service per night

2014 table service

On the website

UK PKG + free dining
2014 Table Service Meals - Adult, 2014 Quick Service Meals, 2014 Two Quick Service Meals per night

Two quick service meals per night does that mean 2 per booking? Not two each per night plus a table service? I am so confused.

The tickets we had from July haven't been used yet hence why ours are still there. :thumbsup2

Yes the DDP descriptions are all messed up but you will get the standard allocation once you get there - remember you are dealing with Disney & IT ;)

Lol. Just strange as it had always said UK Pkg free dining until today.

Yep our DDP description is exactly the same. We have the regular DDP i.e 1 x QS, 1 x TS and 1 x snack per day and the description on both the app and MDE is gibberish. I'm not stressing about it though as long as I can make my ADRs okay

I'm not worried as it is stated as the disney dining plan on our booking confirmation. Just strange like you say utter gibberish lol.

We're not going until next August, so we can't make any ADPs yet (from what I can gather). And our tickets just say "21 day ultimate ticket" and nothing else, too.

But at what point (how many days) before a trip can you customise the tickets/bands with FP+ etc.? - because I'm really excited and can't wait to do a bit more planning!!

I think 60 days? So a bit of a wait yet :rotfl2:

ADRs will be 180 days from check in so early next year.

FP+ is currently 60 days which is subject to change as testing is ongoing.

Magic bands are also around 60/70 days at the moment but again subject to testing changes!
