MDE App Update & Recent “Refresh” Changes Discussion (we’re not doomed!)

Mine is updating now!

My android is still on Version 4.19
I checked the GooglePlay store (where android updates live) and the latest was last updated Feb 13, 2019.

Is there an Everything MyDisneyExperience thread anywhere on the boards? It would be awesome to have one with a version history and how-to's.

that's the same one I have for android and updated the same day.
Not sure if the iPhone update gets theirs even with the android version or if a new android version will be coming out soon with similar updates.

I updated the app on my iPhone earlier and I noticed that plans for one of my friends now show up in my plans, but only on the app. I would rather not see these Has anyone else noticed this?

So i figured out why I am seeing plans for that friend. She is sharing all plans. She is changing that. But what is weird is that I didn't see them before updating the app, and don't see them on the web.

I finally got the update this afternoon for iPhone.

For those that don’t see it on iPhone; just delete the app and reinstall and it’ll update.

I got the app, but I don’t think it’s complete. When I click on my resort reservation it brings up the reservation information, but none of the resort links work. I get Nick & Judy telling me to “keep moving. There’s nothing to see here.” I get it for everything, dining, recreation, shopping, etc.

I deleted the app the. Reinstalled it on my iPhone and the new version came up

I tried to update app from the App Store and it made no difference. Still have 4.19.0 version. It’s been working for me. I am 40 days out from my trip. I am wondering if at this point I should leave it alone. Is the new version that much better as in faster?

Finally updated last night and of course it wouldn't let me cancel an ADR.

Not that I expected perfection mind you!

I got the update but now instead of seeing my plans front and center I see ads for Minnie Vans, After Hours at AK, MNNSHP,etc and park Merch. I wish there was a way to customize it so plans are listed first!

I agree. I’m not a fan of some of the stuff they chose from the home screen

I have not updated, but there is an update available as of March 28th for my Galaxy S8. I got notice of it yesterday.

I agree! Now I have to scroll past my resort info, two ads, today’s park hours, the “my tickets” link button, and my first scheduled Fastpass to get to the tiny link to “my plans.” The ads are large and easy to click on accidentally while scrolling. Very annoying!

At the very least, they need to put the link to my plans at the top of the page.

Edited to add: Ok, I see where you can also get to “my plans” through the menu, but I still find that access far less convenient than it should be.
