MDE and ticket question, not sure how to handle

Hi,
heading to Disney in 2 days, DD's college dance team is competing this weekend at WWOS. She is traveling with and staying with her team as part of a UDA/UCA package which includes 4 days park admission. The rest of us are staying at a different hotel.

We all (including DD that is competing) have leftover park admissions from our previous trip. I have been able to go on to MDE and make FP+ reservations for all of us, however, I would like DD to use her park admission that comes with her package instead of using her older leftover days. I assume she will receive a different magic band when she checks in to her resort this week which will not be linked to my MDE.

Is there any way to link her admission that she will be getting as part of her package to my MDE and have those days be used before her older leftover days?? The way it is set up now, she will not be able to use the FP+ I have already set up (I think).

Am I over thinking this lol?? Help!

I believe you can go to Will call, and they can prioritize the order of your tickets, so the new one gets used first. Not sure how that will break your FPs though

I think you are over thinking this.

I'm assuming you have MB's from previous trips and, since the competition tickets aren't linked to MDE, you have enough left-over tickets in your MDE so you could reserve your FP+? If that's the case, simply have your DD use the new ticket media to enter the park and bring one of her old MB's (attached to old tickets and MDE account) to access the FP+ you've reserved. Using the old MB to pull the FP+ should not affect the old tickets as she used the new ticket to enter the park. You may, however, want to stop at guest relations on the way out and make sure none of the old tickets were pulled (they shouldn't be if you are only using the MB to reserve and use FP+)

Will the FP still work if the old ticket (on old MB) was not scanned to enter the park?

If it works then that's a loophole where AP holders could take their family/friends MBs with them to ride attractions twice, or have 6 FPs booked up

thats what I was thinking...I know before magic bands, if a park pass was not scanned at park entry it would not work to get fast passes.

Yes, this will work. You do not have to use the ticket to enter the park in order to make (and use) FP+. This is a known loophole and has been the case from the start.

My daughter is an AP holder and last year, when we visited without her, we met with a friend who used an old MB of my daughter's to access the FP+ I had made in her name.

I guess, rather than close the loop and create bottle necks when people do it, they are just hoping people don't realise!

It is quite a well known loophole and there has been a lot of discussion here about it in the past.

thank you, I hadn't realized this was possible, not on the planning boards much lately I guess! Seems like the easiest solution is to use the old MB to access the FP+ then. thank you!
