MDE and park admission and staying offsite

Quick question re MDE and park tickets.
Obviously I have to link my 14 day ultimate ticket to MDE to be able to book fast passes. But I get there on the 28th, and am staying offsite. On the night of the 30th I'm staying one night onsite so get a magic band. If I link my ticket to MDE, will that automatically link it to the magic band that's now listed on my MDE? I'm gonna need to use the ticket before I get my magic band so if it links automatically I'm kinda stuck

Once a ticket is linked to your MDE account any card or band can be used to access that information.

So until you get your MB you will be able to use the card

So I'll be able to use the card ticket while I'm offsite, then when I'm offsite I can use the band, then back to the card when I'm back offsite?

You'll be able to use your card while you are offsite then once you go on site and collect the MB you will be able to use either regardless of where you are staying
