MDE Adding Family question

We're going on a trip with extended family in a couple of weeks. I have a MDE account for my family, my parents have one for themselves plus my brother, SIL, sister, BIL, their kids and my cousin and her kids. We can all see each other's plans, etc., and I have made all the FP and adrs for everyone on previous trips together.

This time my BIL made a new MDE account and added the tickets for my sister's family in that account. Neither my parents or I see them as having valid tickets in our accounts, and I am sure that is because we're not recognizing their new account in MDE yet. When I booked our FP it didn't recognize them as having tickets and they've yet to make their own FP.

We can't for the life of us figure out how to link their new account to ours so we can try to add them to our FP plans (or make them new ones since many of them are booked at this point). How do I invite them to join our friends & family list???

Sounds like MDX has your sister's family in twice, once when your parents made their MDX account, and then your BIL created them again in his account (either by creating guests or linking a resort reservation). Just because the names are the same, doesn't mean MDX recognizes they are the same people. So many families have John Smith, John Smith jr, John Smith III, etc.

So you might be be trying to make FP for one person when it is the other version of them in the other account that has tickets associated with them.

You could call Disney's internet help desk for assistance in getting rid of the extras. Or maybe one of the experts here can talk you thru it.

Yes, I am sure that is the problem, I just can't figure out how to join their new listings? I can't remember how I linked up with my parents when MDE was first started, it was so long ago.
