MCO vs Daytona Beach

Hi everyone ... does anyone have any feedback on Daytona Beach Airport? Going in January, and now that DME is phased out, I don't really see any huge benefit in going to Orlando...It's actually cheaper for us on American Airlines using our miles..

If possible, I would recommend sticking to MCO... Daytona Beach is a 1.5 hour drive (2+ hours with traffic) from WDW, also being a smaller airport with a very limited amount of flights, if your flight gets cancelled or delayed you will risk not having any other options.
